Hello, my name is Adam Johnson. I'm a 4th year Foreign Affairs major and have no idea what I will be doing next year. I originally took Chinese as a resume booster and because it looked interesting. It has proven to be a difficult but rewarding decision. Chinese is very tough to learn, but it has allowed me to learn a new way to say beer - pijiu. I will be going to China this summer in the Shanghai Program as a result of taking this class. I am looking forward to this experience, as it will give me an opportunity to visit China - something I have always wanted to do, and also an opportunity to refine my Chinese. Hopefully, a summer in China will force me to become more fluent in the language. Tseng Laoshi is the greatest Chinese teacher ever, and you should take this class just for that. |
