INTRODUCTION

This class has definitely been one of my most fun classes. Even though a 
lot of times I felt very overwhelmed by the assignments, Tseng laoshi made 
learning Chinese so much more fun. She is always energetic, amazingly 
caring and very nice. She is very fair to everyone, and no one should feel 
pressured in her class because she would never give any of her students a 
hard time in class. I am in the Engineering school and I felt sometimes 
that the workload was overwhelming, but the assignments are very effective 
in helping us learn the language better. Also, it should be obvious to the 
student that learning any language requires a lot of time and practice. I 
am very glad I decided to take this class.

I had a hard time choosing which of my dialogues and narratives were better 
written than the others, but the three I chose were the best because I think 
they are the most useful in everyday life. Not only were the sentences well 
written, but the topics were interesting.
