INTRODUCTION Chinese 101 has been one of my favorite classes at UVa. I particularly like the structure and organization of the course. Tseng laoshi is very demanding and puts a lot of emphasis on classroom interaction and participation, which fosters an active learning environment. The class is challenging and requires daily preparation. Even though Chinese ahs bee one of the most time-consuming classes I have taken, I enjoyed taking it. It also made me consider a minor in Asian and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures. My Most Excellent Work 1. Lesson 6- Making Appointments 2. Lesson 7- Studying Chinese 3. Lesson 8- School Life I decided to choose the last three passages that I wrote because they reflect the progress that I have made during the semester. The passages include grammatical structures and more vocabulary than the previous ones and thus represent the level of Chinese I have attained so far.Self-Introduction: Image File NJ Star File Audio File
