INTRODUCTION

This is my second semester of taking Chinese, and I really love my class. Tseng 
Laoshi pushes us hard, and the course load could be somewhat demanding.  However, 
Tseng Laoshi has a lot of fantastic ideas about the class. For example, we get to 
make up our own skit in Chinese for our final presentation, and it is so much fun. 
This semester Tseng Laoshi focused more on speaking and pronouncing the tone marks 
accurately.  Lastly, meeting really cool friends is another plus.  I would 
definitely recommend this class to anyone who is interested in learning Chinese.

My Most Excellent Work: 1) Travel  2) Dating  3) Sports

I picked Travel and Dating for my first and second preferences because my partner 
and I tried to use a lot of new vocabulary and grammatical points that were covered 
in those lessons as much as possible.  We also tried to be extra creative in making 
up the passages.  I picked Sports as my third preference because I tried to use 
supplementary vocabulary, and the expressions that I’ve learned in the past as well 
as the new phrases in that lesson.
