INTRODUCTION

My experience in Chinese has been very rewarding for me over the past year, when I took 
both CHIN 101 & CHIN 102 as electives in the College of Arts and Sciences.  The teacher, 
Tseng Laoshi, is very energetic and knowledgeable.  Olga Chernysheva, our teaching 
assistant, was also very knowledgeable of the subject, and our language lab class was very 
productive as a result.  I haven’t regretted taking Chinese for a moment, and I know that 
the language skills I have acquired will be invaluable to me later on in life.  Chinese is 
the second most-spoken language in the world, and thus is a useful language to acquire for 
anyone interested in studying business, medicine, or law.  The class has also taught me a 
lot about Chinese culture, and my fellow classmates have all been very amicable and helpful 
towards me.  I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to take this class.  Thank you!

I am a light-hearted person, and in my dialogues, my partner and I always strove to be funny.  
The dialogues I have chosen are thus ranked in the order of the funniest first, followed by 
the next funniest, etc.
