INTRODUCTION I feel that this class has been by far my favorite class at the University. I put in a lot of time and got back twice as much as I put in. I have never learned so fast, nor could I have imagined that I would have learned a foreign language so quickly. Tseng Laoshi makes learning Chinese fun and easy, and while I felt challenged I never felt overwhelmed. This was the class that made me want to major in East Asian Studies. My Most Excellent Work: 1) Renting an Apartment 2) Asking Directions 3) Sports I have ranked these passages in this way by quality as well as content. I feel that Renting an Apartment was the most interesting in that it dealt with dorm life and made use of old vocabulary, and I was able to push the limits of my Chinese knowledge while not making too many mistakes. I also feel that Asking Directions was equally good, however the content was not as interesting as that of Renting an Apartment. The content of my monologue Sports was very interesting as well, but I do not feel that I challenged myself as much as I did for the two higher-ranked lessons.Self-Introduction: Image File NJ Star File Audio File
